Terms of Service

Last updated August 9, 2026

These terms apply when you use the FencingScores iOS app or web experience.

Using FencingScores

FencingScores helps clubs, coaches, referees, athletes, and organizers run and record fencing bouts and informal competitions. You may use it only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with other people’s access to the service.

You are responsible for the information you enter, including competition rosters, scoring details, and the access links or credentials you share with others.

Competition responsibilities

Organizers control their competition setup and decide who receives participant and referee access. Referees and organizers remain responsible for checking results, corrections, and the rules that apply to their event.

FencingScores supports the competition mode declared by the organizer, including the available FIE-format workflows. The referee, organizers, and any applicable Directoire Technique remain responsible for the event's rules, on-strip decisions, required equipment, and confirmation of official results.

Accounts, links, and credentials

Use only accounts, participant claims, room links, and scoring credentials that you are authorized to use. Do not attempt to access another person's private profile, competition role, or score submission.

Keep role links and credentials private. Tell the organizer promptly if you believe a credential has been shared, lost, or used without permission.

Availability and changes

We may change, maintain, or discontinue parts of FencingScores as the product evolves. We will update these terms when a material change to these terms is released.
